The owners of the PartyPoker website have floated on the London stock exchange and even though the company was only started in 1997 its value yesterday was £4.6 billion, great for the founders who are splitting £1 billion in cash between them straight away and retaining £3 billion worth of shares.
Brillant work on a good idea and I’m sure one of the two Indian guys involved, Anurag Dikshit, could care less if people snigger at his last name.
