In celebration of The Dorchester’s 80th Anniversary The Bar reintroduced “Dorchester of London,” an original 1930s cocktail. Proceeds support the planting of 80 trees across London also part of the anniversary celebration.

The Dorchester is home to a variety of award winning restaurants and bars. Incomparable afternoon teas may be enjoyed at The Promenade. It boasts a series of warm, rich, intimate spaces ending at an oval leather bar. Serving excellent British fare throughout the day and evening, The Promenade also features live piano music from 1:15-7:00 pm and a Jazz Duo from 7:30 pm until late at night.

China Tang at The Dorchester serves some of the most authentic Cantonese food found outside of China. Their signature Peking Duck and other dishes are prepared with traditional spices and flavourings along with the freshest ingredients available. Rave reviews of the cuisine are matched by the ones given the sumptuous interior evoking Thirties’ romance with Chinoiserie and objets d’art. China Tang’s bar offers classic cocktails throughout the day, served with or without a meal from the dim sum menu. Three dining rooms may be booked for private use.
